South of the Boarder Report - July 2008

Every day brings a new twist and series of events. I find that I am completely amazed at how quickly our life changes and how faithful God is to meet those changes.

As you know since last fall we have been working diligently to raise funds and complete the paperwork to begin the Shepherd's Heart Boy's Home: Hope House. Last week, somewhat unexpectedly our boys arrived! We have 9 boys ranging from the ages of 8-15. Currently they are staying in the house that we rented for outreach teams until we are able to close on the house that we are purchasing for their home.

They are doing GREAT! And we, although extremely tired and a bit overworked are very content to finally see this dream of having a Children's Home come to pass.

Please keep us in your prayers. The boys all come from broken and/or abusive homes. They need a lot of love and security, but are already responding well to their new home and family.
